Workshop for Quantum Startups Creation in Japan were held at Tokyo Midtown Yaesu Innovation Field on July 29-30, and several students in our lab has attended.
This workshop, co-sponsored by Tohoku University, the University of Chicago, and other organizations, is designed to encourage young researchers, including graduate students at Japanese universities, to take the next step up from basic research in the quantum field toward commercialization.
We had a lot of fruitful discussions and it was a very valuable experience for our students to present and exchange their ideas to more people.
