Workshop for Quantum Startups Creation in Japan will be held at Tokyo Midtown Yaesu Innovation Field on July 29-30, and our students Kumagai-san and Onoda-san are scheduled to attend.

This event is designed to provide young researchers, including graduate students from Japanese universities, with an opportunity to learn more about the quantum field from basic research to commercialization, with a view to establishing a “Duality Japan program” that will lead to full participation in Duality, a university-based quantum startup acceleration program at the University of Chicago. The program is designed to encourage young researchers, including graduate students at Japanese universities, to take the next step up from basic research in the quantum field toward commercialization.
This workshop and mentoring program is co-sponsored by Tohoku University, the University of Chicago, and other organizations.
